West Virginia defeated Western Kentucky 70-64 to win the inaugural Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic.
Derek Culver led the way for the Mountaineers with 15 points on his way to being named Tournament MVP.
West Virginia, ranked 15th in the current Associated Press poll, defeated South Dakota State and VCU in the first two games of the tournament before beating the Hilltoppers in the championship game.
