West Virginia wins inaugural Crossover Classic

Mountaineers defeat Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in championship game

College basketball players celebrate a win at the Sanford Pentagon with a sign behind them that says CHAMPS!

West Virginia defeated Western Kentucky 70-64 to win the inaugural Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic in November 2020.

Derek Culver led the way for the Mountaineers with 15 points on his way to being named Tournament MVP.

West Virginia, ranked 15th in the Associated Press poll at the time, defeated South Dakota State and VCU in the first two games of the tournament before beating the Hilltoppers in the championship game.
