MMA returns to Sanford Pentagon for LFA 37

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – MMA makes its return to Sioux Falls on April 20 with a card from Legacy Fighting Alliance featuring multiple title fights and several fighters from South Dakota.

The entire main card of LFA 37 – Bice vs. Perez will be televised live and nationwide on AXS TV at 8 p.m.

“LFA 37 will continue our exciting history in South Dakota that began with the RFA in August 2014,” said Ed Soares, CEO of Legacy Fighting Alliance. “We brought the first sanctioned MMA event to the state at RFA 17, we hosted the first MMA world title fight in the state and now we will bring the first women’s world title fight to the Mount Rushmore State at LFA 37.”

The main event features South Dakota native and former Augustana University wrestler Sid “Vicious” Bice (8-1) taking on Cuban Olympic team wrestler “Super” Maikel Perez (6-1) for the vacant LFA Flyweight Title.

The co-main event features the undefeated Sabina “The Columbian Queen” Mazo (4-0) battling Denver’s Shannon Sinn (5-5) for the vacant LFA Women’s Flyweight Title.

South Dakota fighters Jordon Larson (Sioux Falls) and Bryce Logan (Sioux Falls) also make their return to the Sanford Pentagon for LFA 37 – Bice vs. Perez. More bouts will be announced later.
