SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Sanford Health has named Josh Sammons, MPT, MBA, administrator and CEO of Sanford Chamberlain.
Sammons brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience, including clinical care, rehabilitation services and multi-site clinic operations. He currently serves as a clinic director for several Sanford locations across southwest Minnesota, including Windom, Tracy, Westbrook, Mountain Lake and surrounding communities.
“I am excited for the opportunity to lead the extremely talented team of clinicians, nurses, nurse aids and caregivers in Chamberlain who work tirelessly every day to enhance the care we provide patients in the community,” Sammons said. “As a rural community, providing accessible healthcare for patients is critical and I’m honored to have the privilege of working alongside this team to meet our patients where they’re at.”
Sanford Chamberlain serves patients in the Tri-County area of Brule, Buffalo and Lyman counties. Several specialties travel to Chamberlain for outreach, including behavioral health, women’s health, heart and vascular and orthopedics.
Originally from Huron, South Dakota, Sammons has spent the past 26 years in Windom, Minnesota, working as a physical therapist and clinic director. His collaborative leadership style and deep understanding of both clinical and operational environments position him well to serve in the Chamberlain area.
Sammons begins his role as administrator and CEO June 29.
