Sanford Diamonds to host SD’s Little League State Tournament

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Sanford Sports Complex will host South Dakota’s District 1 State Little League Tournament July 20-23. Winners of the state tournament will advance to the Midwest Regional Tournament in Whitestown, Indiana, with a chance to compete in the Little League Baseball® World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
“Little League and baseball are synonymous with summer,” said Mike Gorsett, president of Sioux Falls Little League. “We look forward to a competitive tournament, and we’re grateful the Sanford Diamonds has everything families need within walking distance. The Sanford Diamonds will be a wonderful host venue for the state tournament.”
