Interested in learning more about how Sanford Health’s progress is improving breast cancer care? Sanford Health will host its Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Symposium on Friday, April 20. Various physicians and experts will speak on the latest advancements in detection, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
“We have a great mix of local and nationally recognized experts discussing all aspects of breast cancer related topics,” said the surgical director of the Edith Sanford Breast Center, Jesse Dirksen, M.D.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Dakota Room at the Sanford Center. Sanford Health welcomes health care providers, students and anyone interested in breast health and related topics to register for the event. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided.
“It’s not only a great opportunity for all health care workers to learn from leaders in the breast cancer field, but also allows them to interact an make contacts with colleagues in their region,” Dirksen said.
